1st haircut

Dylan had a little surprise today!

His first haircut. And yes he REALLY needed it!

It came out really bad. So after his nap I tried again and made it a little better...but still, not that great. Its hard cutting a 6 month olds hair! I'll for sure take him in for his next haircut!

Now my 3 year old is asking for me to cut his hair. Brave boy!

Cleaning house is no fun!

I want to be posting right now. I really do. But I'm so super tired and I need to be cleaning. For some reason I can't get myself to really just do it. I work on it little by little and just feel like nothing really gets done. Blah! House cleaning is for losers anyways..... :P jp

My poor Etsy shop

Wow I can't believe how far behind I am on getting the Etsy shop started. I have things made, I just need to take some pictures and post it all.
I think I'm finally getting used to having a baby around and the crazy life that comes with having two boys. Only took me 6 months lol. Maybe I can start getting serious about crafting now :)

Happy Third Birthday!

My baby boy, my first born, he turned three years old yesterday. I'm still having a hard time believing it. He's growing so fast, I just want to scream "WAIT! SLOW DOWN!" I have so many great memories from these past three years. Before writing this post I sat down and went through so many pictures. Then I realized I had 20 picked out to put on this post and that was only from the first year. Yup I did say this is my place to flood but I know that's WAY too much lol. So I decided to just add pictures from his past birthdays :)

Starting with his actual birth day. This is my Aidan. 8 lbs 3 ozs 20 inches long. Black hair, dark blue eyes. Beautiful tan skin. Oh how my heart melted this day. He was perfect in every single way. All ten fingers and all ten toes :)

His first birthday came way too fast. I'm sure every mother feels this way when their first child turns one. It was the best year of my life. Aidan was already on the move, having learned how to walk at 10 months. Such a big happy boy. I don't remember his exact weight and length at one year, but I know it was big lol Here he is with his own mini cake.
He had an awesome Nemo cake for everyone else. Everyone loved it :)

The bink was still part of his life. That would soon go away in the next month.

See? I told you he was big! His black hair had turned into a brown and his blue eyes had also turned brown. His nice tan skin had gone away somewhere and I was left with a white boy :P

By two he was starting to really talk. That was really special. Being able to talk and hear your child respond to you. For him to start asking questions and just being able to see him really learn. Its amazing. We started his birthday right with a breakfast cake :)

Later that day he shared a birthday cake with Mommy and his grandma and his aunt RaRa (who at that point was still auntie brace face)

And then another one on the weekend so Daddy could have some too :)

At this point he LOVED Thomas the train. So it was for sure a Thomas birthday :)

Here he is! Three years old. Still loving Thomas! I can't believe how much he's grown. How smart this boy is! He runs around and is such a BOY.

I love him so much. These past three years have been the best of my life. He brings Charles and I so much joy. He now has a little brother that loves him. Aidan can make him laugh like no one else can.

Baby brother was already asleep, or else he would have been in the picture too. We went out to dinner late and didn't end up having cake till 8:40 that night. I hope you made a good wish little boy. Mommy loves you so much!

P.S. Try to slow down...there really is no rush. Happy third birthday Aidan!

My new baby

I fell in love today...
Can you see him?

How about now?

So tiny and sweet. While I was out giving the plants a little water, something ran out from under the watermelon plant. I realized it was a teeny tiny baby lizard. I ran and got Charles and made him pick it up. It was so tiny that it wasn't really scared and it just stayed in place on Charles' hand. I asked Charles to put it someplace so that Aidan could see it when he woke up from his nap. He put it in a little cup and then put it in a trash can lol After about 2 minutes I started feeling really bad that we had captured it. I asked Charles to put it back where we got it because I'm scared of things that jump and run fast...even if its just a tiny baby lizard lol Charles told me that he did what I asked and if I wanted it back then I had to do it. So I took that trash can back to the watermelon plant and put it on its side so that he could run free. He didn't. He stayed there for another minute or two. Finally I had to tap on the can to get him to run out.
Yes that's him. That tiny dot in the trash can.
He ran under the watermelon plant and I snapped a few pictures. I really really hope he makes it and some stupid birds don't get him. He's sweet and little, and innocent to the ways of the mean nasty birds. Take care baby lizard! (Can you tell that I don't like birds?)

P.S. I should add that last week we saw a hole in the dirt by the watermelon plant. My aunt stepped near it and a big lizard ran out and scared her. It was decided then that there probably were eggs in there. But somehow the hole got covered and I figured the poor things were doomed. Finding that tiny lizard right now makes me think they made it...or at least he did. Maybe I'll see more tiny ones running around :)

Daddy's Wallet

What do you do when your 2 year old (five days away from 3) wont let go of your husbands wallet? What do you do when he keeps pulling out all the debit and credit cards? You sit him down and have a little talk and ask him if he wants his own wallet JUST LIKE DADDY'S. :) You then search Etsy for a childs wallet. Then you feel really sad that the only thing that comes up is drawing wallets with crayons and paper. NOT what you want, or your two year old little boy wants. You then look at just normal wallets on Etsy and find that the only ones that are under $10 are the duct tape wallets. And while those are pretty cool...you just don't know how that will go over with your little man. So then you decide...I can do it. I can throw one together for him. You grab daddy's wallet from your almost 3 year old and take a good look at it. Then you grab some black fabric and get to work. You realize that its for a almost 3 year old and don't really worry about how nice it actually comes out...just that it has all the parts it needs...like a slot for cash, cards and ID. Never mind that your almost 3 year old doesn't have an ID. But using Daddy's Disney Land pass from last year counts right? You spend a good hour or two on it, take some breaks to take care of baby brother who is sick and not eating :( and pick up all the beads that little man drops all over the floor. But it comes out! It works! He shows daddy and is SO proud of it! He then makes sure he's holding it while he walks daddy to the car to go to work. He then says he needs his own car keys so that he can go to work too. Hmmm... Mommy can make wallets, but Mommy is not ready to hand over a set of keys and send her little man off to work. I can wait a good 14 years for that. Or more.

Here's some more!

I forgot about the pictures I took on my phone while at Sea World and some of them are even sorta cute :)

Sea World birthday trip

On July 2nd my mom, sister, niece, husband, children and I all headed over to Sea World. My mom wanted to go for her birthday and she wanted all the family with her. Since I already had a fun card and could go for the rest of the year for free, I was all for the idea. It also forced my husband to get a fun card so that we can now drag him to Sea World with us whenever we want to go :)

My mom with Dylan, Aidan, and DiAnna

We ended up showing up late because the whole night before and that morning my tummy was killing me. I almost didn't think I was going to be able to make it. I went and after only a few hours in pain it seemed I was just fine. I'm pretty sure that my dinner the night before was the cause of all the trouble.

Can you believe it? I didn't see a killer whale once! It seemed the whole trip was me just hanging out by myself waiting while everyone else went on rides. And since we didn't want to get separated I could only stroll the two strollers to things that were close to the rides. Yes we had two single strollers with two little kids and I had to move them around by myself in between all the people. And yes it was also very very VERY crowded that day. I survived. My mom and everyone else had lots of fun I think. But I do enjoy my moms birthday Sea World trip when its just me and her. Hopefully next year we can ditch everyone else and just go by ourselves again like we used to :)

Aidan fish

So much to write about! But its 10 p.m. and the baby has a fever. I think I should get my sleep while I can. Charles stayed home from work tonight because he's been really sick for the past two days. I'm praying that I don't get sick too. Hard to take care of kids when you're sick...even harder to take care of sick kids when you're sick.

July 2nd we took our trip to Sea World. July 3rd was my moms birthday. July 4th... duh. July 5th day out by the pool. July 6th had friends over and out by the pool. Lots of great pictures. Will write about it all later :) Promise! Just don't know how late that later will be hehehe :)

Good night for now!
