I think Aidan's coughing in my face during the night is finally taking its toll on me. I am just exhausted! Right now its at the point where I can hardly keep my eyes open. I don't want the kids to talk to me and I just want to curl up into a ball and sleep. Of course I have a husband who's sleeping and two kids that are wide awake, so a nap is just not something that's going to happen for me :/
I had high hopes of waking up this morning and cleaning house. Even more so since I just saw that show Hoarders. OMG some of those people. I feel soooo sorry for them. I actually had to turn off the show and walk away at some points. I might never watch that show again. So instead of waking up and cleaning, I realized right away that I was exhausted and moody. Very very very moody. Husband said I was a mean person. Hah. That's putting it nicely. So I threw the kids in the bath after breakfast, got ready and headed out the house with no idea where we were going.
Aidan decided Joann's was a good place to start the day so we went in and looked around. Some very cute Halloween papers I might have to go back for. But once there I started getting a nasty back ache and felt little prickles all over my skin. So we ended up not buying anything and rushed out of there.
After that we stopped at Starbucks so I could get some coffee to wake me up. It was very yummy, but it didn't wake me up lol. So off to the library we went. They had tons of craft books there! But almost all of them were old and nothing that I really wanted to take home and look over even more. Except one origami book. Aidan and I are going to try our luck at folding some paper into butterfly's and birds. I'll have to take pictures of our attempts :P
So after the library we decided it was time to go home and clean. Still haven't cleaned :P But really, once I get off this computer I'm going to start. Really... Tho I'd rather be at the beach. Laying on the warm sand and listening to the ocean.
But since I can't stay awake long enough to drive there... being at home with my nose picking boys isn't such a bad thing. As long as they play in their room, not hurt each other, and leave me alone. :)
Uh oh, I hear screaming....

Getting Ready For Speech Therapy
This Friday Dylan goes to speech therapy for the first time. Once there he'll be evaluated for an hour and a half. I don't know what they're going to do for that time, he honestly says maybe 4 words. And most of the times its "Mama" and "Eat" that sounds like "eeeeeeeeeee" I'm really curious about what they're going to say and what they're going to try.
I really hope they find something that sparks some sort of interest in him. Every time I try to teach him something he just smiles and runs away. But its honestly getting to the point where something NEEDS to be done.
My sweet sweet boy wants to talk! I know it! I can see it in his face. His new thing is pointing. He points. And screams. And points. *sigh* So many things have been running through my head. 'Maybe he can't hear well' 'Maybe since he was a little slow with all his other developments this will be just like that' 'Maybe there's something that's really wrong'
I've been told not to compare my children. I've been told that everyone is different. Every child does things in their own time. But at this point I can't help it. I sit and watch old home videos of Aidan and am just blown away by the difference in the two.
I'm glad we're starting the speech therapy now. That this is becoming an issue so early. He just turned a year and a half this July. Maybe since we're starting now he'll be able to catch up soon. He's a smart little boy. He understands a lot. He's just having a hard time saying it.

A New Look!
(And I love it!!! Haha I wont say any more about it)
Family is doing great. Aidan just turned 4!
We had a batman pool party for him :)
With great friends!
And a batman mask...
That was on for a total for 10 seconds :P
It was a perfect day to be out by the pool.
And to eat great cake!
And to sing Happy Birthday twice because they started without your Mommy there.
Happy Birthday little boy! We love you!!! :)

"Can we go now?!!?!!?"
I've had soda and I've had coffee and I still can't keep my eyes open. Sleeeep pleaseeeeeeeee!
Right now I'm taking myself and the kids over to my parents to help get the house ready for Aidan's birthday party tomorrow. Pool party!!!
Aidan's 4 years old now! I'd say the time just flies by, but honestly it feels like we've been a family for longer then that :) Its amazing having a family and I love being a mommy and wife.
Here's a picture of Aidan with his birthday present. He LOVES it! And Dylan loves when he gets to ride with his brother lol
I want to get around to posting more soon and adding a few pictures. It's been almost 2 months since the last post haha What happened to my plan of writing at least once a week?
Look at that smile :) Well I better stop writing and get the kids ready to leave. Aidan heard that there's going to be pizza for dinner at his grandparents house and he wants to go! "Mommy can we please leave NOW?!"
